Pale Male’s debut takes place in 1997 in a 10 minute video called “Up In Central Park - Birds and Birders” for the American Museum of Natural History.


Two years later he secures a small role in Wild City, a documentary hosted by Isabella Rossellini on wildlife in Central Park for TBS.


In 2002, he takes center stage and becomes the star of a one hour documentary baring his name: Pale Male.  The film receives a standing ovation from a 1,000 fans for a special screening by NYC Audubon at the American Museum of Natural History.  After airing on NATURE - PBS, Janet Hess is awarded an Emmy for her writing of the show.


The Legend of Pale Male a 85 min feature - documentary is  completed in the Spring 2009. and is declared  “Best of Festival”  at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, MT.


Last Fall, The Legend won big at Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival taking home Best Script & Best People & Animal program
